Welcome to 2018
(we know its a little late)

We would like to take this time to welcome everyone to our website. We hope those that attended the 2017 Awards Banquet enjoyed the evening. With 2017 officially being over for NYSTQHA, we have spent a lot of time discussing the past year, and the future. Everyone can agree that we have experienced a decrease in participation at our events. Not only has NYSTQHA experienced this decrease, but other local, state, and national organizations. That being said NYSTQHA is working hard to make positive changes to encourage more involvement. We want everyone to enjoy our events, and have a positive experience.

The Open Show Series this year will again consist of 2 shows, both of which double judged. Our shows will be held on June 10th and September 23rd at the 4H Education Center in Otisville, NY. We are very excited to work with this new facility, and support our local 4H program! We will be posting more information about the facility in the coming weeks, but for now you can check out their website at http://cceorangecounty.org/education-center-and-4-h-park

That leads us into the AQHA Hal Montanye Memorial Show which will be held on September 28th-30th at the Sussex County Fairgrounds. Although this facility is in NJ just across the border of NY, we have chosen the facility for our QH show as it will allow us to grow our event to accommodate a larger exhibitor base, without moving to a location hours away.

For our speed enthusiasts we have scheduled 4 Funday’s this year. Funday’s will be held on May 13th, June 16th, September 16th, and October 7th at the Thomas Bull Memorial Park in Goshen.

Class Schedules, Entry Forms, and other documents for the Open Shows and Funday's will be posted by April 1st, so be on the lookout.

If you have not already done so please remember to renew your membership with us, by using the Membership Form on this website. Please make sure to review the Year End Requirements on our website as well. As always, please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

Looking forward to a great year.

Regards,

NYSTQHA
